Jon Lancaster completed a hatrick of days at the top of the time sheets for British drivers in Abu Dhabi, as Jolyon Palmer had been quickest on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Lancaster, driving for MP Motorsport, does not yet have a full time drive for 2013, but gave his chances the best possible boost with his performance on the last day of testing.
The session start was delayed by repairs to barriers at turn 13, and when the session did eventually get under way Stoffel Vandoorne, Lancaster and Johnny Cecotto took turns topping the charts, with Lancaster ultimately coming out on top with a 1m 49.653s, still five tenths down on the fastest time in testing, set by Palmer on day one.
The GP2 grid moves from Abu Dhabi to Bahrain for the final test session on March 19 before the beginning of the season on April 5.
