Jolyon Palmer made it two days out of two at the top of the time charts in GP2 testing from Abu Dhabi.
The DAMS driver topped the charts with a 1m 50.311s before lunch – significantly down on yesterdays time of 1m 49.162s – with the majority of teams including DAMS choosing to run race simulations in the afternoon slowing down the single lap times.
The test was marred by incidents, as McLaren development driver Stoffel Vandoorne clipped the barrier at turn 19 in the morning, and Conor Daly and Facu Regalia collided just after lunch, ending Daly’s day.
Testing resumes at 9am local time.
